Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 18, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information ETH-Swap.io may process when you use the website, create a crypto-to-crypto exchange order or contact support.

ETH-Swap.io is designed around order-based exchanges rather than a permanent trading profile. The information processed depends on how you use the service and whether an exchange, support request or risk-based compliance review requires additional data.

Information We May Process

For an exchange order, information may include:

  • order ID;
  • sending and receiving assets;
  • selected blockchain networks;
  • wallet addresses;
  • transaction hashes;
  • amounts;
  • quote and order-status information;
  • timestamps and technical order data required to process the exchange.

Because public blockchains are involved, some transaction information exists independently of ETH-Swap.io and may be publicly visible on the relevant network.

Support and Communication Data

If you contact ETH-Swap.io, we may process:

  • your email address;
  • the topic of the request;
  • order ID or transaction hash you provide;
  • the contents of your message;
  • follow-up correspondence needed to investigate or resolve the request.

Support is handled by ETH-Swap Support. We do not need a seed phrase, private key or wallet password to investigate a normal order.

Technical and Website Data

The website may process technical information required to operate and protect the service, such as session data, browser or device information, security events and technical logs.

Essential cookies or similar storage may be used for site functionality, session continuity, preferences, security and abuse prevention.

If optional analytics or similar technologies are introduced, the corresponding notice and consent controls should match the technologies actually used.

Why We Process Information

Information may be used to:

  • create and process exchange orders;
  • calculate and display order conditions;
  • monitor transaction and order status;
  • send the exchanged asset to the destination wallet;
  • answer support requests;
  • investigate failed, delayed or disputed transactions;
  • prevent fraud, abuse and security incidents;
  • perform risk-based AML/compliance reviews;
  • respond to valid legal or regulatory requests where applicable;
  • maintain and improve service reliability.

We do not use the exchange flow to create a permanent trading profile when an account is not required for the transaction.

Public Blockchain Information

Ethereum, Bitcoin and other public blockchains record transaction data independently of ETH-Swap.io.

Wallet addresses, transaction hashes, transferred amounts, block timestamps and other on-chain information may be publicly accessible. Once confirmed by the relevant blockchain, those records generally cannot be edited or deleted by ETH-Swap.io.

A privacy request sent to ETH-Swap.io therefore cannot remove information that is controlled by a public blockchain.

Risk-Based AML and Compliance Data

Routine KYC is not required at the start of a standard eligible crypto-to-crypto order. If transaction or wallet signals trigger a risk-based review, ETH-Swap.io may request additional information reasonably necessary to assess the operation.

Depending on the case, this may include transaction context, source-of-funds information, wallet-control evidence, supporting documents or identity-related information.

Compliance information is handled according to this Privacy Policy and the AML Policy.

Service Providers and Data Sharing

ETH-Swap.io may use categories of service providers needed to operate the website and exchange service, such as:

  • hosting and infrastructure providers;
  • communication and support tools;
  • security and anti-abuse services;
  • transaction or blockchain infrastructure;
  • risk-screening and compliance services.

Information is shared only when reasonably necessary for the relevant operational purpose.

Information may also be disclosed when required by a valid legal or regulatory request. This policy does not identify a specific vendor, jurisdiction or legal basis unless that information has been separately established for the service.

Data Retention

Information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was processed, including exchange operations, support, security, fraud prevention, dispute handling, compliance and applicable legal requirements.

Retention periods may differ by data category and case. ETH-Swap.io does not state a fixed retention period where one has not been formally defined.

Public blockchain records are controlled by the relevant blockchain and are outside this retention model.

Security of Information

ETH-Swap.io uses reasonable technical and operational safeguards appropriate to the service flow. These include order-specific transaction data, wallet/network checks, transaction confirmation handling and controlled support/compliance channels.

No online service or blockchain transaction can be guaranteed to be completely free of risk.

Never send ETH-Swap.io:

  • a seed phrase;
  • a private key;
  • a wallet password;
  • a recovery code.
